LG Chem’s CTO R&D constantly reinforces its main base technologies such as adhesion, coating, process, simulation, and analysis technologies to enhance the competitiveness of existing businesses. We also operate the Future Technology Research Center to discover and nurture promising new future industries such as sustainable materials, energy materials, advanced new materials, and inorganic materials.

Tech Center focuses on technical service and development (TS&D), including support for polymer products in petrochemicals, discovering new materials, venturing into new fields and markets, and offering technical training. It has expanded its services beyond Korea into China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Ningbo), North America, and Europe.
